on the mend is a social enterprise which provides bespoke events, workshops and artworks to educate people on the societal impacts on health and well-being.

We provide a platform to empower those under-represented by the current healthcare system. We’re the only creative studio in the UK to focus solely on health awareness and equality.

Mission and Values

Health awareness beyond the hospital walls.

Health conversations should be a part of everyday life in a fun and engaging way. Our past clients include major museums, galleries and charities. Design is essential to sustainable healthcare and we’re on a mission to prove this.

Health inequalities, on the mend.

Many factors affect our experience of health. These include gender, ethnicity, race, illness, age, personal relationships, sexual orientation and experiences of trauma. We question the boundaries of good health and provide solutions which promote and inspire better living.

People Centred Design.

We are good designers and good listeners. We work with and listen to different communities to create work which accurately represents them.

Taking the pressure off of health services.

Ultimately, we cut costs to health services by educating the public on prevention, causes of illness and activities with health benefits. We use design as therapy and encourage empathy among patients, medical staff, the public and public spaces.
