A variant of our Ministry of Loneliness Project is coming to The Cally Festival!
Cally's festival this year looks at Cally Pulling Together. With reports of loneliness now a national health crisis (and even a Minister for Loneliness being appointed in Parliament!), it has never been more important for members of a community to get together to fight the symptoms and loneliness.
'Letters to Cally' is a one day event at Cally festival which invites visitors to write a letter to a Caledonian Road local. Write a letter and you will receive one in return from another stranger at the festival.
We want to show that it is possible to make a small but meaningful contribution to someone else's day by simply giving a little bit of time. You don’t need to be a doctor or a minister to help combat loneliness. Donating a bit of time goes a long way. With 'Letters to Cally', loneliness is brought into the public eye, and acts of kindness are rewarded. We look forward to seeing you all in June!
